For most people who experience chronic back pain, enduring a continual back pain may seem like a slow death. Now according to a latest study carried out at the Boston Medical Center found that repeated and constant back pain is linked with early death.
The study is published in the Journal of General Internal Medicine that measures the effect of back pain which continues over time on Mortality and studied the association between the two.
For the study purpose, 8000 women were followed for an average of 14 years and their health and socio-demographic factors were taken into consideration for the observation.
The study concluded that women who reported constant and frequent back pain had 24% more risk of death in comparison to woman who do not experience back pain.
