The new University of Liverpool study, published in Pediatrics, shows celebrity endorsement and television promotion of unhealthy foods increases children’s consumption of these foods.

However, children are increasingly opened to marketing through digital platforms, such as on social media, and the effect of marketing by YouTube video bloggers.

As per a new report, children in the UK now access social media more than before. Around 93% of 8-11-year-olds go online, 77% use YouTube and 18% have a social media account.
