Petrol price have hit a 4-year high and diesel prices are at their highest level on Sunday April 1. As per the news updates, the fuel prices have become a worry issue for the people who are reportedly already facing inflation and other economic issues. The high price of petrol and diesel could have a dampening effect on their monthly budget and their budget could head for a toss, sources said.

Last highest was on September 14, 2014 when the petrol prices had hit Rs76.06.

Previous high was Rs 64.22 on Feb 7 this year

As per reports there have been increasing demands that the government should intervene and slash taxes on the fuel and bring down the price of petrol and diesel sold in the country.
