Reducing Sitting Time May Cut Risk Of Early Death: A Study Reveals
Swapping only 30 minutes of sedentary time with any physical activity of any amount or intensity could reduce the risk of early death, according to a latest study. The study shows the significance of movement irrespective of its intensity or amount of time spent moving for good health.

Keith Diaz, assistant professor at Columbia University In The US mentioned that the findings of the study highlight the importance of physical activity that provide immense health benefits.

Researchers also said that about one in four adults spends more than eight hours sitting. For the study purpose, 7,999 individuals were included aging 45 years and more who took part in an investigation of racial and regional disparities in stroke between year 2009-2013.
