The death cases due to swine flu have soared to 169 this year while 4,571 people have tested positive for the H1N1 virus, with Rajasthan accounting for more than 40% of the total cases.
Rajasthan Reports Maximum Cases
As per the data issued by the Government, 1911 cases and 75 deaths have been recorded in Rajasthan till Monday.
Gujarat reported the second highest number with 600 cases and 24 deaths, followed by Delhi with 532 people being infected with the virus. No death has been reported due to the flu in the capital till now. Punjab recorded 174 cases and 27 deaths, followed by Haryana with 372 cases and 8 deaths. Maharashtra has reported 12 deaths and total 82 cases till Monday.
