Rajasthan & Gujarat stand 3rd & 4th

Maharashtra had the maximum number of cases of H1N1 virus (swine flu) and Deaths in 2018 followed by Rajasthan and Gujarat in the country. As per the state health officials, there were 2,594 cases of H1N1 virus last year and 462 deaths. Out of this, highest number of deaths were in Pune.

According to the latest update of the National Centre For Disease Control (NCDC), there were a total of 13,447 cases of H1N1 virus and 969 deaths across the country. According to a review by health professionals in Maharashtra, it was found that the people with age of 21 to 50 was among the most affected.
