A delegation of Bollywood actors and producers such as Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan and Karan Johar met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai to have a discussion about the issues faced by the Indian film and entertainment industry.

The delegation also included Rakesh Roshan, Ronnie Screwvala, Prasoon Joshi, The Chairman of Censor Board, Siddharth Roy Kapur, The President of Guild of India.

Reportedly, according to a PIB statement, the film fraternity members gave Modi an overview of the huge growth possibilities of the media and entertainment industry. They also pitched for lower and uniform rates of GST for the industry.
