US Defense Secretary Jim Mattis delivered a strong message to Pakistan by saying that it is a high time for everyone to support the attempts taken by the UN, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all others who are aiming towards maintaining harmony and peace in South Asia.
He also maintained that 40 years time is sufficient for every organized country to get involved in maintaining peace in South Asia.
US Letter to Pakistan
Reportedly, Mattis replied to a question by reporters on a letter written by US president Donald Trump’s to Imran Khan, the Pakistan Prime Minister, Looking for his support in the peace process of Afghanistan.
Reportedly, Mattis said that Pakistan should play a significant role in peace discussions with Taliban.
