A 16-year old boy had killed his mother and sister beating them with cricket bat, cutting them with pizza cutter and scissors. It is reportedly known that the teenager had killed his mother and sister only because they scolded him and asked him not to use a sofa for studying.

The Noida police have arrested the boy and the he is said to have confessed before the police that he had murdered his mother and sister.

Media reports suggest that the boy, a resident of a flat in Noida was scolded by his mother on Thursday and in a fit of anger he contemplated murder of his kin. The boy took advantage of his father’s absence. The boy’s father had gone to Surat for some work and was not at home. Finding that he had nobody to stop, the boy allegedly murdered his mother and sister by beating them with a cricket bat and then hurting them with a pizza cutter and scissors.

The double murder has sensationalised the entire area. The incident has also raised a big question on the state of mind of teenagers in the present age. Are they becoming too sensitive and touchy as a little scolding could compel them to murder their own kin.
