Tata Sky, the DTH Operator has finally agreed to Latest broadband tariff rules of TRAI and reportedly stated that it has started the process that directs customers to move to the new system.
The operator’s nod comes after it was rebuked by regulator TRAI and given a show-cause notice for “lack of initiative” in notifying its subscribers of the new broadcast tariff rules. Tata Sky CEO Harit Nagpal reportedly said that the laws will always be followed and customers will be assisted for the process of migration.
RS Sharma, the TRAI Chairman, the man leading the new tariff regime has highlighted that the new system will lower down the monthly TV bills as will allow customers to select channels as per their choices.
