Tennis star Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik have been blessed with a baby boy on Tuesday as the former cricket captain announced the news on his Twitter account this morning.

Shoaib’s manager also confirms news

Shoaib Malik’s manager Ameen Haq also tweeted the news and wrote that while the mother and baby are doing fine, the dad is over the moon. Mirza’s good friend, Bollywood filmmaker, Farah Khan congratulated the couple on her official Instagram account.

In April, Sania announced her pregnancy

The hashtag #BabyMirzaMalik has already started trending on Twitter with a couple of celebrities expressing their deep wishes to the couple on baby’s arrival. Earlier in April, the 31 year old tennis professional broke the news of her pregnancy, she also added that their child would keep surnames of both of them.  Sania, who took a break to have her baby, is looking forward to make a come back to the tennis court for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
