Blackbuck Poaching Case: Salman Gets 5-Yr Jail, Rs10k Fine, Others Acquitted

In the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case Salman Khan has been convicted and the actor gets 5 yrs term in jail. He has been taken into custody. He would remain in jail for today as no bail possible today. He will remain in Jodhpur Central Jail on Thursday. All other accused in the case have been acquitted from the charges. Notably, this is the last of the six cases of poaching deer against Salman and his conviction in this case could extend more problem years for Salman.

Meanwhile, it is said that the Bollywood would be in a state a shock as the actor was taken to jail and there were some media reports that Salman going to jail would mean a loss of crores of rupees for the Bollywood. But the actor would be getting bail soon, probably on Friday and all could be fine for the Bollywood.
