On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the launch of Swachhata Hi Seva Movement’ from September 15. The initiative will be launched to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 2. The Prime Minister further urged everyone on Wednesday to participate in this movement and boost the efforts to create a ‘Swachh Bharat’.

People will join hand in hands to complete the mission

Reportedly, the mission also celebrates the fourth anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission, will take place across the length and breadth of the country and will continue till Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary on October 2. With this initiative, people from all fields come together to take part in various cleanliness sanitation activities across in the country.
