A regular health check-up is mostly recommended by doctors. But a report published in the Journal of Women’s health, as quoted by Bustle, states that not many women are getting screened for cervical cancer.
Only 2/3 Got screened in 2016
In the year 2016, less than 2/3rd women with an age group of 30 to 65 got tested. With the women of age group between 21 to 29, the numbers are even lower.

Kathy Maclaughlin, MD, lead author of the study and Family Medicine Specialist of Mayo Clinic stated in a press release that routine test in three years with a Pap test or Pap-HPV co-test every five years ensures precancerous changes are captured early and treated more early.
