The NSE Nifty on Thursday crossed the 14,000 mark for the first time in its history.

Earlier, on November 24, Nifty crossed the 13,000 level and in 26 trading sessions it reached the level of 13,000 to 14,000.

The Nifty has gained 15% till December 30 this year, its best annual return since 2017.
