Why New Year Resolutions Are Important?

New year resolutions are not just promises made to ourselves but they stress on past progress and revitalize new hopes. They can be related to losing weight, getting a new job, getting promotion, starting a new course, , quitting smoking and seeing life with a new attitude among many others. Mostly, we get strung up on not achieving all or most of those resolutions, so we become disheartened by our discerned failures in the search for perfection and then stop to bother.

However, the point is not that to achieve all the stated resolutions. But resolutions help to know the weaknesses and gaps in our lives and then commit to improve them the next year, a period that can be monitored easily. Resolutions also give us something to look forward to, as we will make more effort to reach them. This is the soul of any resolution.
