Nihal Chand Goyal appointed Chief Secretary

December 30: The State Government has appointed the Additional Chief Secretary Forest and Environment, Tourism, Art and Culture Nihal Chand Goyal as the new Chief Secretary of the State by issuing order on Saturday.

Goyal will also continue to additional charge of the post of Chairman, Rajasthan State Mines and Mineral Corporation Limited, Rajasthan, Udaipur, till the next orders.

Goyal is 1982 batch officer of the Indian Administrative Service. He remained the district collector of Jaisalmer district, Education director of the state, Commissioner of Jaipur Development Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner of Jodhpur, Secretary of the Governor, Jaipur Metro CMD, Chief Government Secretary and Additional Chief Secretary, Delhi, Mumbai, and Industrial Corridor and has also served on many important administrative positions in his career .

Nihalchand Goyal has been appointed Chief Secretary of the State on the retirement of Ashok Jain who served as the CS for six months.
