In the Money laundering case, Rajya Sabha MP Misa Bharti and her husband Shailesh get relief from CBI court. However, the court has barred them from leaving the country.
The hearing of the money laundering case was held on Monday in Patiala Court of Delhi. The Special CBI court granted bail to Rajya Sabha MP and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder daughter Misa Bharti and her husband on Monday for personal bond of two lakh rupees each. Along with this, the court has barred Misa Bharti and her husband from going abroad. The court has also said that before leaving the country, they have to get permission from the court.
It is known that before that, the money laundering case related to Misa Bharti and her husband Shailesh Yadav’s company, Michel Packers and Printers Private, is being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). This is the case related to the purchase of a farm house in the name of the company in Delhi. In this matter, ED has interrogated Misa Bharti.
Misa is said to have responded briefly in the inquiry. He told the investigating agency that the daily business of the firm was being take care of by her husband Shailesh Kumar, while the financial details of the company was being handled by a company. Notably, the one who headed the company which looked after the financial details had passed away. According to ED, Misa says that the answer to questions related to the company and the farm house purchased by can be best answered by her husband and the ‘late CA’.
