Few days back debutant director Gopi Puthran took to his Instagram page and announced that his first film Mardaani 2 has finally gone on floors.

Sequel To 2014’s Mardaani

The movie is the sequel to 2014’s film Mardaani starring Rani Mukerji in the main role. The first installment was directed by Pradeep Sarkar and Rani did justice to her role as a tough Senior Inspector Shivani Shivaji Roy.

Now, Rani finally kickstarted the shooting for Mardaani 2 and her first look was captured. In the BTS still, Rani is seen wearing a white shirt and black trousers with a black belt tied around the waist. In the second part, she will be seen as Superintendent of Police.
