After the launch of much-awaited Jio GigaFiber broadband recently, the Jio GigaFibre registrations will be starting on August 15. Here are details of JioFiber plans, tariff, launch cities and what Jio would be offering with its Fibre optics to the users in India.

Reliance Jio has launched Jio GigaFibre this year. After its launch it is presumed that it might be fetching the largest subscriber base. Earlier it was expected that Jio might launch JioFiber in the last week of 2017. But there were reports that Jio might be coming up with the fibre optics line business in August this year.

It was also said that Jio was testing the optical fibre network in as many as 9-10 cities in the country on  trial basis and once the trial run are over and it might be launching the optics JioFiber across the country for all users.

It was also said that Jio might launch the high speed data line in at least 6-7 cities including Vadodara, Ahemdabad, Delhi, Jamnagar, Surat and Mumbai. It was also said that Jio GigaFibre in Mumbai could be a super hit for the company as there is high demand for high speed internet access in the business capital of India.

JioFiber plans, tariff

At a most competitive price, Jio GigaFibre would be able to offer its Fibre line at the most affordable rate and could sweep the entire market. JioFiber will be offering 100GB data per month at 100 Mbps speed and it will be free for 3 months.

As per the Jio website the current plan/offer in JioGigaFiber is

The current offer is JioGigaFiber preview offer which gives you ultra high-speed internet up to 100Mbps for 90 days along with a monthly data quota of 100 GB and a complimentary access to a host of Jio’s premium apps. Incase, you consume 100 GB of your data quota within a month you can continue to enjoy our high speed internet services by performing a complimentary data top-up of 40 GB via MyJio App or through Jio.com. As this is a preview offer, there are no installation charges levied but there is a refundable security deposit of Rs.4,500 taken for the ONT device (GigaHub Home Gateway). This amount needs to be paid through Debit card, Credit Card, Jio Money or Pay TM.

How to register for JioFibre broadband?

The registration will commence on August 15. Interested Customers can register for Jio GigaFiber broadband service through the MyJio app. Besides, they can also login to Jio.com, to register it online or on their mobile phones. There is no registration fees for a Jio GigaFiber connection.
