An Israeli spacecraft on its first mission to the moon has sent its first selfie back to Earth, Reportedly said mission chiefs.
The picture showing part of the Beresheet spacecraft with planet Earth looming in the background, was beamed to mission control in Yehud, Israel 37,600 kilometres (23,300 miles)away, the project’s lead partners Reportedly said in a statement.

Launched From Cape Canaveral, Florida
The partners, NGO SpaceIL and state-owned Israel Aerospace Industries, rocketed the unmanned Beresheet, Hebrew for Genesis from Cape Canaveral, Florida on February 22.

Landing On April 11
If the Spacecraft successfully touches down on the lunar surface on April 11 as planned, Israel will become the fourth country to pull off a moon landing.
