Team VisheshBaat: An Indian UAV lost control and entered into China border along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) along the Indo-China border in Sikkim due to a technical snag during a routine training mission on Thursday. The incident caught attention of the Chinese border forces and the Indian border forces immediately alerted them as per the set protocol. The Chinese forces immediately spotted the aerial vehicle drone and informed whereabouts to the Indian counterparts.
The Indian security forces have released a statement on the crossing of Indian UAV into China border.
Immediately after the entry of the Indian UAV into Chinese airspace, the media agency China Xinhua News @XHNews published a story China’s military voices strong dissatisfaction and opposition to Indian unmanned aerial vehicle’s intrusion into China’s airspace.

Here is the statement released by the Indian security agency in response to the media article of 07 Dec 17 by Xinhua News Agency:
“An Indian UAV which was on a regular training mission inside the Indian territory lost contact with the ground control due to some technical problem and crossed over the LAC in the Sikkim Sector. As per standard protocol, the Indian border security personnel immediately alerted their Chinese counterparts to locate the UAV. In response, the Chinese side reverted with the location details of the UAV. The exact cause of the incident is under investigation. The matter is being dealt with in accordance with the established protocols through institutional mechanisms to deal with situations along the India- China border areas.” – Col Aman Anand
