On Wednesday, the Gujarat High Court dismissed a PIL that was seeking a ban on the release of the film “Kedarnath”. Reportedly, the court considers it as a publicity stunt by the petitioner. The film is set to be released on December 7 and has Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles.
The petition filed by the President of International Hindu Sena, Prakash Rajput, asserting that the film hurt the ‘Hindu’ sentiments because it shows a Muslim boy falls in love with a Hindu girl. But the division bench of acting Chief Justice A S Dave and Justice Biren Vaishnav dismissed the claims presented in the petition.
