The central government has released a tabular data in which it has shown the forecast using which people can track the route and the intensity of Cyclone Yaas. As per the forecast issued by Indian Meteorological department, there is rainfall warning for Odisha, Assam, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Meghalaya. The release by the IMD has specifically mentioned that the cyclone Yaas is very likely to move north-northwestwards, intensify further into a very severe cyclonic storm during next six hours.

2 dead, 40 houses damaged in a pre-Yaas tornado in Bengal

Two people have died at Chinsurah in Hooghly ahead of Cyclone Yaas on Tuesday. Nearly 40 houses werer damaged in the pre-yaas tornado and five people have received injuries. As many as 11 lakh people have been evacuated from low lying and Yaas target areas ahead of Yaas.

केंद्र सरकार ने एक सारणीबद्ध डेटा जारी किया है जिसमें उसने पूर्वानुमान दिखाया है जिसके उपयोग से लोग चक्रवात यास के मार्ग और तीव्रता को ट्रैक कर सकते हैं। भारतीय मौसम विभाग द्वारा जारी पूर्वानुमान के अनुसार, ओडिशा, असम, पश्चिम बंगाल, झारखंड, बिहार और मेघालय के लिए बारिश की चेतावनी है। आईएमडी द्वारा जारी विज्ञप्ति में विशेष रूप से उल्लेख किया गया है कि चक्रवात यास के उत्तर-उत्तर-पश्चिम की ओर बढ़ने की संभावना है, अगले छह घंटों के दौरान एक बहुत ही गंभीर चक्रवाती तूफान में और तेज हो जाएगा।

बंगाल में यास पूर्व बवंडर में 2 मृत, 40 घर क्षतिग्रस्त

चक्रवात यास से पहले हुगली के चिनसुराह में मंगलवार को दो लोगों की मौत हो गई। पूर्व-यास बवंडर में लगभग 40 घर क्षतिग्रस्त हो गए और पांच लोग घायल हो गए। कम से कम 11 लाख लोगों को निचले इलाकों से निकाला गया है और यास को लक्षित क्षेत्रों से आगे निकाला गया है।
