‘Tokenisation’ is being Encouraged By Reserve Bank Of India For Secure Payments By Card

Now, More Secure Card Payments

Permission has been granted by the RBI to the card payment companies to provide their customers a ‘tokenised’ service so that the customers can do the transactions with card in a more secure and safe manner.

Tokenisation Service

Customers can create a ‘token’ or unique alternative code once the ‘tokenised’ service gets implemented. The ‘token’ will be useful to the customers in making the financial transactions as it will mask the exact details of the card. Customers will not have to provide the details of their cards repeatedly with tokenisation.
