There have been reports of schools not issuing admit cards to those students who have failed or performed poorly in the pre-board examinations conducted by the schools. Students were in tizzy over the issue and Vishesh Baat News had also received such complaints from some students. Now that the CBSE has issued an advisory, all the students eligible for the class 10, 12 board examinations will be getting admit cards for appearing in the board examinations.

The Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE,has issued an advisory regarding issue of CBSE Admit card to students.
In the advisory, the CBSE has told all the schools that they have witnessed and have received complaints regarding non issuance of admit cards to students who have performed poorly in the pre-board examinations.

CBSE that some schools have been charging fees for the issuance of admit cards to the students. The board said in the letter that the CBSE has taken the matter seriously and quoting Rule 15 of the CBSE examination By-laws, it has told schools to issue admit cards for class 10 and class 12 to all the eligible students. It also said in the letter that holding of admit cards or not issuing the examination admit cards to eligible candidates is violative of this bye law and punishable under law.

The board also said that the schools must also not charge any fees for issuing the admit cards to the eligible students whose list they have sent to the board and the board has accordingly released admit cards for the candidates.
