Australia won the toss and chose to bat. Australia made 288 runs beating India by 34 runs. With this, Australia won the 1st One Day International(ODI) of the three match ODI series. India made 254 runs.

Rohit Sharma’s Century

Despite Rohit Sharma(133) secured a century in today’s match, India could not win. To beat Australia, India had to chase the target of 289 runs but could not do so.
