BSNL Wings: A VOIP Based Phone Service

BSNL unveiled its internet telephony service in the country few months before, known as BSNL Wings. BSNL has worked with the Indian government for many years to provide the service to the users. BSNL wings is the VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service that allows users to make a call using an internet connection to any phone number in India.

BSNL Wants To Take On WhatsApp

The applications also support wings to wings video calling. Wings allows users to place calls from any fixed device without a Sim card as it is using the Packet Switching Technology. Subscribers can also make international calls by depositing Rs2,000 and calls will be charged on the basis of current tariff for international calls.

Just Pay 1,099 For An Year

The subscribers can use the Wings service by paying Rs1,099 for an year. This is a one time fee in the beginning by which subscribers can make unlimited calls for the year. This is less than what Jio is charging for free calls. 

Easy To Use Service

To begin with, subscribers are required to download SIP (session initiation protocol), after this a 10-digit subscription ID will be provided to the customers. After this, they will get a 16-digit PIN on their email address by which the subscribers can activate their Wings service.
