PM @narendramodi has announced financial assistance of Rs 500 cr for #KeralaFloods; ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh per person to next kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 for seriously injured person from Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund

PM announced the financial assistance of Rs 500crore to the State. This will be in addition to Rs100 Cr announced by the Home Minister on 12.08.2018. He also assured the State Govt that relief materials including foodgrains, medicines etc. would be provided, as requested.

Prime Minister @narendramodi arrives in Kochi this morning and held an aerial survey of the KErala Floods situation. He also held meetings with senior officials and ordered speed up of relief operations.
