The death toll in the severe dust storm that had hit the North India on Wednesday has increased to more than 95. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued warning on Thursday stating that similar dusty winds could prevail in the North India including East Rajasthan.





Notably, a severe dust storm with wind speeds as high as 90 km/hr had hit the north Indian states on Wednesday leaving many stranded while killing 95 persons. As per the reports, as many as 50 people re killed in Uttar Pradesh while the dust storm claimed lives of 27 people in Rajasthan. It is said that the extent of the dust storm was very severe and the wind speed were really high.

As per the warning issued by MeT, there would be thunderstorm accompanies with squall and hail in North India, West Bengal, Sikkimnd Jharkhand while there would be thunderstorm with squall at isolated places in Haryana and adjoining states. A warning of thunderstorm with gusty winds has been issued by the MeT Department in East UP, East Rajasthan, East MP, Chattisgarh, Telangana, AP, TN and other areas.

Heat wave conditions would prevail in West Rajasthan. With dust storm and thunderstorm in isolated places.
