A passenger plane of Iran has crashed near Samirom in Iran. It is said that the Iranian Emergency Center has confirmed that there were 60 passengers in it. Media reports suggest that all the passengers have been killed in the accident.

As many as 66 people board Aseman Airline plane ATR-72 crashed in Zagros mountains in Iran near the capital on Sunday. The plane is said to have lost radio contact and vanished from the radar before the accident. As per reports, the plane crashed due to foggy conditions in the mountaneous region of the Sourthern Iran. The plane was on a flight from Tehran city of Yasuj. The Zagros Mountains form the largest mountain range in Iran, Iraq and southeastern Turkey. This mountain range has a total length of 1,500 km.
The passengers on flight included one child six crew members and 60 passengers. And all of them have been reportedly killed in the accident.
As per media reports, the plane crashed near the mountain region near Semirom town and immediately caught fire and crashed into the rocks killing all the passengers on board.
This airline was flying from Tehran to Yasuj. Which is the capital of Iran’s Kogiluyeh and Bauer-Ahmad province
