PM Modi @narendramodi to inaugurate #MagentaLine Metro between Botanical Garden to Kalkaji Mandir station in #Delhi.

Update 1:05 PM — Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates Magenta Line Metro at the Botanical Garden station by pressing a button.

Update 1:02 PM — PM Modi reaches venue to inaugurate Magenta Line Delhi Metro from Botanical Garden station to Kalkaji Mandir.

PM Narendra Modi would inaugurate Delhi Metro Magenta Line today. UP CM Yogi Adityanath will also be with Modi and he will be taking the first ride on the new addition to the Metro. Notably, on this day, the Delhi Metro has also completed 15 years of 
successful operation and the addition of Magenta Line on this occasion is seen as a remarkable achievement for the Delhites. The Delhi Metro has become a lifeline of the people of the capital.

There are reports that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has not been invited for the launch event  and if this is true then expect some quick comments on the new Metro inauguration any time now. The inauguration event is at 1PM

PM Modi will be inaugurating the Magenta Line from the Botanical Garden Metro Station. Notably, it was only a few days ago, the Magenta Line Metro had run backwards automatically at KALINDI KUNJ DEPOTdue to some technical glitch raising finger on the very safety of the passengers. But Metro officials had clarified that there was no damage to life due to the incident and it happened due to a technical problem.

A huge stage has been set at the Metro site for the PM’s Metro Magenta Line inauguration and 1000 people have been invited at the event.
