Ockhi Cyclone Update: PM @narendramodi gave great relief to those affected by #OkhiCyclone, families of those who lost their lives in cyclone would get assistance of Rs 2 lakh each, Rs 50 thousand for the injured
The central government will also announce the financial assistance of 325 crore rupees to Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep, which will help the rebuilding of 1400 houses under the PM housing scheme, including the #OkhiCyclone.
It is said that CM Naidu has asked for Rs9300 crore relief package for Ockhi affected.
On Tuesday, PM Modi toured the Okhi affected areas and also met the families of the affected and meets victims of #CycloneOckhi in Kavaratti, Lakshadweep. The PM announced that Rs2 lakh would be given to the family of the persons who have lost their lives due to the cyclone and those injured due to the cyclone would get Rs50,000.
