At least 32 people were killed and over 20 persons were injured as a bus carrying them fell off a bridge into a river in Dubi area in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan on Saturday. The rescue teams rushed to the spot and carried out the rescue work but not all the passengers could be saved and 32 bodies were recovered. The injured were rushed to the nearest hospital for medical care.

Some preliminary reports suggest that the driver was an 16-year-old boy and it is possible that it was due to the inexperience and fault of the driver that the bus has met the ill fate. Police have started investigation into the matter while district authorities and forces were busy with the rescue work.
